Who are we?

Since 2016, Project Pulse has worked with Calgary's high school community to shed light on the medley of opportunities available in the field of Health Sciences. Over the past three years, Project Pulse has accomplished this by delivering an yearly conferences. However, this year Project Pulse has expanded the content we can deliver to students by offering in-school presentations. Project Pulse continues to aim to foster student interactions with visionary professionals and students in the field; enabling them to learn as much as possible about the interplay between health and science.

Why do we do it?

Many students have unanswered questions about future career options when pursuing post-secondary education. Project Pulse aims to give them the answers they are looking for. Through student-surveys, it was found that over 50% of high school students would consider health sciences as a definite possibility for their future career. Of those students; almost three quarters have unanswered questions regarding future prospects. Project Pulse offers an opportunity for such students to find answers and receive reliable information about the field they plan on pursuing in a unique, highly-interactive setting.
