Workshops

Reforming Education on Drugs (RED)

Reforming Education on Drugs is a University of Calgary Students Union club that aims to establish within students a foundational understanding of the biological mechanisms involved in illicit drug use and substance abuse. Through the use of interactive in-class presentations and demonstrations, RED provides individuals with the ability to engage and think critically with these topics, all the while developing a love for science learning. RED is excited about bringing their experience to Zenith and inspiring students to think outside the box on this topic.

Kahoot!

Thought you were leaving Kahoot in your classroom? Think again! Prove your knowledge of the health sciences while picking up a few new tricks along the way.

University and Scholarship Applications

Feeling like you need to be able to launch a rocket, converse with aliens, and then publish all of that in Nature to go to university? What about scholarships? Project Pulse's Andrew Thompson has created a lunchtime workshop that will redefine success to be inclusive of you and not just your achievements. Andrew is excited to have the opportunity to be sharing his experiences and insight with the audience, and hopes to make a profound impact on the futures of those in attendance.

Opportunity Fair

The Opportunity Fair is another returning favourite to the Zenith Conference. This meet-and-greet will allow students to become aware of the non-profit organizations (NPOs) that invest in their communities and learn about how they can make a difference by getting involved.
