Kathleen Davidson is our next professional panelist!
Kathleen Davidson holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Nursing from the University of Calgary. She is currently a Senior Instructor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Calgary. Prior to joining the University in 2007, she practiced nursing in a wide variety of roles and clinical settings, from remote nursing stations in the Northwest Territories to intensive care units in major centres, to palliative care in homecare and hospice. Kathleen’s clinical areas of interest are palliative care and care of older adults. In her current role, Kathleen teaches theory and clinical practice courses with undergraduate nursing students in the second and fourth years of the program. She has recently been co-investigator with Dr. John Bertram on a research project to evaluate different techniques for administering deltoid intramuscular injections. In her free time, Kathleen is a traveller and a travel writer and blogger; she recently spent a month travelling in southern Africa.
